High current inductive components with heat drain. In power conversion circuitries dissipation of heat plays a major role. Especially in those applications in which a high power density is required, electronic components can be heated up substantially. Extra, additional, cooling techniques can be applied to lower down the thermal resistance of the components in order to effect a lower temperature rise. Common techniques for additional cooling are e.g. made with fans creating an airflow moving additional heat by convection or, by attaching a heat sink to a surface area of a component.
